If you’re working towards becoming a master craftsman, this is a great starting point. This course will allow you to progress from beginner to advanced and provides the knowledge and skills needed to work in this area of the construction Industry

Course Details

This course allows you to learn, develop and practice the skills required for a career in Plastering.

You will learn the following:

  • Introduction to Health & Safety in Construction
  • Introduction to the Construction Industry
  • Preparing Background Surfaces and Applying Render Coats
  • Preparing Background Surfaces and Applying Finishing Coats

Mixing materials and Applying Floating Coats.

Entry requirements: No formal qualifications needed

After completing this course there are a number of options available. Extend your construction knowledge by either choosing to complete a full Diploma in Plastering or look at another skill area to support your career aspirations. Apprenticeships is also a viable option to consider too with opportunities to work with employers to kick start your career.
