This course gives learners a full recognised qualification in dog grooming and salon management. This course will ensure that you are a fully qualified dog groomer.
Units covered in this qualification include:
- Health and Safety in a Dog Grooming Environment
- Promote the Welfare of Dogs conforming with relevant legislation
- Customer Care and Managing Complaints
- Assess and Plan Dog Grooming Styles and Maintenance of Equipment
- Health Checking, Handling and Canine Behaviour
- Prepare, Style and Finish a range of Dog Breeds
- Canine Emergency First Aid
- Planning the Operation of a Small Canine Business.

Entry requirements
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above to include maths or English (or both).
A Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care at Merit or above.
