Entry requirements

Minimum requirements for admission to the Sixth Form: A grade 5 in Mathematics
A grade 5 in English Language or English Literature
Achieving at least 3 other GCSEs at grade 6 or above.
Subject specific requirement:
  • Grade 6 or Merit PE, or evidence of club-level involvement in specific sport (if not sudied at GCSE)

Career Opportunities Sports scientists are involved in all aspects of sports performance from grass roots to elite level. Students may also go on to complete furthers studies in medical fields such as physiotherapy and dentistry. The course also prepares students for Physical Education teaching at a primary and secondary level.
