Course Summary

The course is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity and network architecture, essential for any aspiring network architect. You'll gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills through hands-on lessons and industry placement.

Course Details

Topics you will cover include:

Digital Infrastructure

Cybersecurity

Network Architecture

Ethical Hacking

Minimum of 45-day industry placement

How will it be delivered and assessed?

In year 1 you will be assessed by two paper based exams and an employer set project.

In year 2 you will complete an occupational specialist project set by industry partners.

In addition to the above, you must complete a 315 hour industry placement relating to your subject.

Entry requirements

  • Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths
  • You may also require a DBS
