This course covers building construction principles, masonry structures, and practical tasks like bricklaying and constructing walls, piers, and fireplaces. You will learn to interpret drawings, plan projects, and engage in decorative and reinforced brickwork. How will it be delivered and assessed?

Throughout the study programme your work will be assessed for a Pass, Merit or Distinction grade. Achieving this Diploma means that you have reached the standards expected by the industry.

Entry requirements

This course is for 16-18 years olds. Successful completion at Level 1 Brickwork Diploma OR, you must hold GCSE English and Maths. One of these qualifications must be a minimum Grade 2 and the other must be a minimum Grade 3.
