Beauty Therapy Level 2 Full-time (FBEA)

You’ll gain hands-on experience in facials, waxing, lash and brow treatments, manicures, pedicures, and make-up services — all taught in professional salon settings. • This course will help you develop a foundation of beauty therapy skills required in industry:

• Manicure
• Pedicure
• Facial
• Eye treatments
• Waxing
• Lash lift
• Makeup
• Health and safety
• Client care

The qualification is completed and achieved through practical, coursework and on-line exams. Practical assessment is continual throughout the year, you would practice on head blocks first then need to bring in clients to be assessed. Each assessment that is passed is logged into a portfolio of evidence and once all assessments and theory tests are passed, logged into portfolio and signed by both assessor and candidate then the qualification is achieved.

• Independent study task (set at interview)

• Provide contact details for five potential clients.

• Submit a completed work placement proposal form (provided at interview).

• GCSE grade 4 English Language and Maths is desirable.
