Mostly by assessment but some students may take examinations in English and Maths.
Entry requirements
You must be 16-18 years of age (or 19-25 with an Education, Health and Care Plan).
Some 14-16 year olds may also be able to join the course.
This course is suitable for students who do not meet the entry requirements for Level 2 or above courses.
