These fees relate to 2022/23 Tuition Fee: £815.00 Related additional costs may include materials, equipment, visits, residentials etc which are payable by all students. Any student entered/registered with an Awarding Body who has been given free entry and then withdraws or is withdrawn by a tutor will incur the certification fee associated with the course. Any re-sit examination will incur a cost. Different fees apply to international/overseas students and those studying this qualification as a standalone course. Course Summary

This is a practical, highly flexible course specifically designed to meet the needs of learners wishing to acquire welding skills at a beginner level.

Course Details

You will study the theory and practice of welding in one of the following:-

· Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG)

· Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TIG)

· Manual Metal Arc Welding (ARC)

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Mondays and Tuesdays 6pm – 9pm

You will complete five practical welding test pieces.

There is also an oral assessment requiring you to answer questions on welding processes and health and safety.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but you will need a keen interest in developing welding skills.
