Certificate in Sport L2

This is a technical certificate that is highly recommended for those learners that wish to study a vocational sport and physical activity qualification and be provided with the opportunity to apply theory through a number of practical activities. You will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills required to be able to coach sports and physical activities within the active leisure industry.

You will gain valuable skills and experiences needed for employment (supporting PE and school sports), Apprenticeship or academic progression through the studying of the following areas:

Planning, delivering and reviewing sport and physical activity sessions.

Delivering multi skills sessions

Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, Skill Acquisition and Talent Identification

Presentations, discussions, project deliver, written tasks and practical demonstrations.

4 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above. Applicants will take part in an Admissions Event interview.
