Course Summary
If you’re organised, enjoy working with people and want to step into the world of business, this T Level in Management and Administration is the perfect choice for you.
Designed in partnership with employers, this two-year qualification gives you the technical knowledge and practical skills needed for roles such as Administration Assistant, Team Leader, Supervisor or Office Manager.
You will also gain real-world experience with a 45-day (315 hours) industry placement, preparing you for work or further study.
Course Details
This T Level includes two key parts: the Core Component and the Occupational Specialism.
Core Component
• Business behaviours and workplace skills
• Business context and the role of organisations
• Financial principles
• People and team dynamics
• Policies, procedures and legal frameworks
• Project and change management
• Quality assurance and compliance
These topics will help you build a strong foundation for any management or administrative role.
Occupational Specialism
You’ll go deeper into one occupational area: Team Leadership and Management
Learn how to lead teams, manage workloads, support colleagues and help a business run smoothly.
Employer Set Project
Put your knowledge into action! You’ll complete a substantial project set by a real employer, tackling a real-world business brief to show off your skills and problem-solving abilities. This is separate from your industry placement and forms part of your final qualification.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
This course will be assessed by two exams, as well as a project set by the employer you complete your work placement with.
Entry requirements
- Five GCSEs at grade 5 or above including English and Maths
Your next steps...
You will be able to progress to Higher Education to study a university-level course or a Higher Apprenticeship. Alternatively, you may choose to enter skilled employment directly in Business Administration or Management.
