Business Level 3 BTEC Foundation Diplom Full-time (FBMS)

The Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Business will give you an understanding of the business environment and the key areas in business. The aim of this course is to prepare students who wish to embark on a career within the field of business or for those who prefer, it is a pathway to Higher Education.

This is a vocational, career-focused qualification equivalent in size to 1.5 A-Levels, typically studied over one year as part of a full-time program or used as the first step toward a larger two-year Extended Diploma

The BTEC Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Business is designed to give you a broad understanding of business principles and practices. This qualification is suitable for those aiming to pursue higher education or a career in business.

The course consists of mandatory and optional units, providing a well-rounded education in business. You must complete a specified number of units to achieve the qualification:

• Minimum of 60 hours work placement

Types of Assessment

• Written Assignments: Demonstrate your understanding of theoretical concepts.
• Practical Tasks: Apply your skills in real or simulated business environments.
• Projects: Undertake in-depth projects that integrate multiple aspects of the course content.
• Examinations: Some units include written exams and computer to test your knowledge and understanding.

Grading system: Unclassified, Pass, Merit and Distinction.

Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English Language and Maths at grade 4 or above.
