“The quality of teaching is exceptional. Each and every one of my teachers cared about my learning and my achievements; I was challenged to achieve my best and I always felt supported. The Aspire Programme was instrumental in my success at HNC and the support I received for my application to the University of Oxford was an essential part of my HNC journey. It really prepared me for my next steps."

Jak Spencer, University of Oxford, Biomedical Science

Studied: A Level Biology (A*), A Level Chemistry (A), A Level History (A) and BTEC Level 3 Musical Theatre (DS*)

“My experience studying Law inspired me to pursue this as a career. The teachers are amazing, always approachable and supportive if you need something explaining further. I absolutely loved my studies, and the court visit in my first year was one of the moments that made me realise I wanted a career in the field. I’d really recommend this course - I am so excited for my future career!”

Aleesha Wilson, University of Huddersfield, Law

Studied: A Level Law (A*), A Level Sociology (A*) and A Level Mathematics (A)

“At HNC I had so many opportunities to brighten my future. I really enjoyed my MFL studies, and stretched and challenged my communication skills – I believe speaking a second language will help me in the future and it certainly gave me an edge when I was applying to Russell Group Universities. I had so many amazing experience from being a Head Student to meeting the Duchess of York on behalf of students!”
