Course Summary
The course is designed to help you develop practical skills in line with industry standards and also enhance your theoretical knowledge. The course will equip you with the necessary skills to perform site joinery tasks related to first fix structural carcassing, including flooring, roofing, frames, partitions, and stairs. You will also gain expertise in second fix joinery tasks such as fitting skirting boards, architraves, hanging doors, and installing handrails and balusters.

How will it be delivered and assessed?
You will be assessed by on-going practical assessments in the workshop environment and you will complete theory exams to test your knowledge and understanding of the construction industry and site carpentry practices.
Entry requirements
You will need to hold GCSE English and Maths qualifications at grade D/3 or above.
You will also need to have a Level 2 Site Carpentry Diploma.
