These fees relate to 2022/23 Course costs for students aged 19 or over - £3,384.00 If you are aged between 19 to 23 and you have not already achieved a full level 3 (or above) qualification, then your course may be free. If you are aged over 19 and have achieved a full level 3 qualification or are aged over 24 you are probably eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan from the government to cover your tuition fees. The good news is that you will not have to repay this loan if you complete an Access course and then an HE/ degree course in any subject specialism. You can also get more details by going to: https://www.gov.uk/advanced-learning-loans/overview. Different fees apply to international/overseas students.

Course Summary

This is a nationally recognised course and students who undertake this pathway then proceed to take degree courses in areas such as dietetics, pharmacy, optometry, radiography, physiotherapy, biochemistry and engineering. Different combinations of units are available for students wishing to progress in particular career pathways. Students are guided on the most appropriate units to take, as well as being supported with their applications to HE and for relevant work experience. The College has close links with regional universities which welcome mature students from the Access to HE course.

The course is intensive and students should realise that it makes substantial demands in terms of time, commitment and study.
