Level 3 Cambridge Advanced National (AAQ) in Mental Health: Individuals and Society

Through the study of the Extended Certificate in Mental Health: Individuals and Society, students will be provided with theoretical knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of mental health that will prepare students for undergraduate study. Students will explore how societal attitudes have changed over time, and develop practical skills and strategies to positively impact individuals and communities.

For this qualification, students must complete 5 units:

• Two mandatory externally assessed units

• Two mandatory NEA units

• One optional NEA unit

For entry onto this course, we require 4 GCSE passes at grade 4 or above. These must include either English Literature, English Language or Maths.
