Course Summary
This course is an introduction to hairdressing. You will learn the skills required to assist stylists in their role and carry out treatments within a commercial salon environment.
Alongside this course you will also gain additional qualifications and personal and social development skills.
Course Details
The course is an assisting role covering the following themes:
- Salon reception duties
- Shampoo and conditioning hair
- Blow drying
- Styling hair
- Health and safety
- Plaiting hair

Entry requirements
Three GCSEs at grade 2 or above including English
