Course Summary

Why Study Drama?

The A-level Drama qualification is a two year course which encourages students to develop their performance, directing and design skills. In doing this, students will also gain highly sought after creativity, problem solving and team working skills which transfer to any chosen higher education course or career path. This specification also covers social, cultural, historical and political contexts and their relevance to theatre practices – making the course both academic and practical.

Course Details

All A-Level Drama students perform in two professional performances a year. Throughout the year students will have the opportunity to see good quality professional theatre as they will attend a variety of theatre trips.

How will it be delivered and assessed?
