Course Summary

Chemistry is a fast moving and dynamic science. All our teaching is carried out in modern, well-equipped laboratories, enabling much of the practical work to be completed on an individual or small group basis. In addition to formal teaching and practical sessions, there are opportunities for students to arrange individual tuition with one of their teachers. The specification has been developed in consultation with the Royal Society of Chemistry, GlaxoSmithKline and many teachers in OCR Centres throughout the country. There is plenty of practical work integrated with theoretical work.
