A Level Graphic Communication will see you learning how to use the latest technology to communicate visually. As part of a fast paced and exciting learning experience, you will learn how to produce engaging communication aimed at a variety of audiences. You’ll combine traditional art and design skills alongside new and emerging technologies.
You will develop your skills through a range of topics including:
• Illustration
• Digital media including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Mixed media collage
• Typography
• Layout and composition
Under the direction of our qualified staff, you’ll develop your visual language skills through developing a portfolio of work in response to commercial standard briefs. As part of this you will explore different areas of graphical concepts including typographic design and artistic composition.
You’ll enjoy a range of experiences and trips, and will showcase your projects in an end of year Art and Design Exhibition.

Grade 4 in a relevant GCSE Art subject. If students have not taken a GCSE Art subject, then a portfolio of work will be considered. General entry criteria will also apply, this is available on our website.
