Biology is one of our most popular Science based subjects. Our brand new course for September 2020 entry offers students the chance to further their study of Biology by taking a different approach from the traditional A Level route.
In this course you will study how the human body functions at a genetic, cellular and tissue level, developing a deep understanding of how Biology and lifestyle factors impact the health of individuals. It is an ideal option to support a career in the Health and Science fields.

This is a popular option for students who are looking to progress to careers in the field, and works well with complementary courses to offer access to a varied range of higher education degree courses. For example, you could combine this with Health and Social Care to access a degree in Occupational Health, a Sport Science degree when combined with BTEC Sport and Exercise Science or Nursing when combined with A Level Psychology and Sociology or with BTEC Health and Social Care – the opportunities are diverse!
