The topics you will study will see you looking at both practical and conceptual elements of design. These include:
• Product, architecture and interior design

• Working with materials to explore craft based processes
• Developing an in-depth knowledge of computer based media
• You will also pursue a specific area of interest within design fields
Our outstanding teaching staff will help you to realise your creativity, and the exciting design based careers available to you. You will be given the opportunity to explore your own design interests, and how these need to be balanced with the needs of the customer. Your skills will be realised though visualisation, practical exploration and testing of your ideas.
You will also have access to exciting opportunities to support your wider study programme, such as a residential trip to Berlin which will see you being inspired by the famous architecture and design! We also participate in design competitions which put your skills to the test.
