We have well established links with colleges on the continent, which offers you the chance to visit overseas destinations, including as part of an exchange programme.

Your next steps...

Naturally, learning a second language can significantly support your career prospects internationally. France is one of the UK’s largest European trading partners, and the British Council has highlighted the ability to speak French will be a huge asset to companies post-Brexit.

Studying French sees you developing your linguistic and reasoning skills, and it has natural links to many areas such as Philosophy, Religion and Ethics and Psychology. There are so many degree options where French is an asset such as Law, Teaching, Journalism or Communications.
