Then A Level Fine Art is the subject for you!
You will develop your skills and interests through a range of topics including:
• Practical techniques such as drawing, painting and printmaking
• Sculpture, 3D construction and installation
• Photography and digital imaging
• Innovative use of mixed media
Under the direction of our qualified staff, you’ll explore the vast number of ways that Art can affect the perception and reality of the world around us. You will use a range of materials and techniques to develop your own artistic interests and styles.
You’ll enjoy a range of experiences and trips, and will showcase your projects in an end of year Art and Design Exhibition in a gallery setting.
Assessment is via examination and coursework. Please speak to our team for further details.
Grade 4 in a relevant GCSE Art subject. If students have not taken a GCSE Art subject, then a portfolio of work will be considered. General entry criteria will also apply, this is available on our website.
A Level Fine Art is a traditional and well-respected A level subject that is often combined with a variety of academic subjects. Our students typically progress to careers in Architecture, Advertising, Teaching, Illustration, Animation or other academic courses.
